The Oetker Group

With over 29,000 employees and an annual turnover of almost 7 billion euros, the Oetker Group is one of the largest family-owned companies in Europe. The management holding company of the Oetker Group, which consists of 350 companies, is Dr. August Oetker KG in Bielefeld. This is where the pharmacist Dr. August Oetker laid the foundation for his company in 1891. Diversification into three business areas characterizes the internationally active company, which can look back on a history of more than 130 years.

To this day, the owner family has a significant influence on the Group's strategy and business policy. The values that have been shaped over more than 130 years of company history and which place people at the center of all actions are consistently embodied by the members of the highest operational management body, the Group Management. They are also lived in all Group companies and actively transferred to the increasingly digitalized future.

Since its establishment, the group of companies has recorded a steady upward trend. The management structure ensures that market-oriented decisions based on the needs of the respective industry are made on a decentralized basis and that resources are pooled centrally at the same time.

Here you will find an initial overview of the various areas of the Group.
