About to graduate from your Bachelor’s degree and planning to start your Master’s degree in the following year? But you are really eager to gain practical experience beforehand?
The program is aimed at Bachelor's graduates who would like to gain practical experience before starting their Master's degree. With just one application, you have the opportunity to experience the diversity of the Oetker Group at various locations in Germany for a period of around ten months!
Gap Year Program 2025 / 2026
In October 2025, you will start as a gap year intern at one of our companies and gain your first experience within the Oetker Group. After five months, you will move to the second Group company.
A varied supporting program with a kick-off and final event in person as well as regular digital events will also give you insights into other companies in the Group and include exciting workshops on relevant topics.
The practical experience you gain will give you confidence in your choice of Master's degree and allow you to build up a network within the Oetker Group.

The Sustainability & ESG department deals with the topics of sustainability/ESG, human rights, compliance and data protection across the Group. During your internship, you will support the monitoring of current trends, initiatives and discussions around these topics, especially from political actors, prepare this information and evaluate it in terms of relevance and applicability for the Oetker Group. You will also conceive and design internal training and communication measures to raise awareness and provide information to the employees of the Group companies. You will also provide support in answering questions on ESG topics from external stakeholders, such as banks, customers and NGOs. You will also work on reporting that results from legal requirements (e.g. CSRD and LkSG) or internal processes (e.g. compliance report).

Together, we are driving forward the topic of sustainability in the Radeberger Gruppe. We monitor trends and comply with regulations. We meet the demands of our internal and external stakeholders. We develop training courses for employees and customers. We implement completely new systems to make sustainability measurable. You are involved in all topics and meetings and support us with your knowledge and curiosity.

You can look forward to a varied role in which you will support the implementation of our C&W sustainability strategy. You will be involved in the preparation of future CSR reporting and prepare regular reports on existing measures. You will also carry out market comparisons and benchmarks of our sustainability targets and ensure that they comply with current standards. Another important aspect of your work is active interface management with the specialist departments involved in the individual measures.

Are you interested in how the LKSG is implemented in everyday life? How social and sustainability standards such as Ecovadis or Smeta are implemented in the company? How a company is preparing for the EU deforestation regulation? A lot is currently happening in the area of sustainability. If you would like to help shape and contribute to the new processes that are currently being developed, then you have come to the right place. You will be involved in various audits, setting up structures and developing guidelines/standards. All in direct cooperation with our management, purchasing and other teams.

The application phase for the gap year program begins on 26.03.2025 and ends on 25.05.2025. We recommend that you visit our website and our social media channels (e.g. LinkedIn) regularly so that you don't miss any news.
A current CV and answers to various motivation questions in our application tool are required for an application. Certificates of all kinds can also be uploaded to the application portal.
*Note on the preferred stations: Please note that the gap year program consists of two internships in two different group companies. You can therefore only participate in the gap year program if you receive acceptances from two different group companies during the application process.
The internships are remunerated with the statutory minimum wage. This is currently 12.82 euros per hour (as of February 2025).
The program starts in October 2025 and ends in July 2026. During a total duration of 10 months, you will complete two internships of 5 months each in two different Group companies.
All internships take place at locations in Germany and require a German language level of C1.
